Lexi Klatt, junior and co-captain of the Southmoreland softball team, has committed to Alderson Broaddus in West Virginia. She plans to play softball and major in either pre-physicians assistant or exercise science.

“The softball program is working its way up to being really great,” Klatt said, “I love the coaches and the players who I’ve met. Everyone there is so friendly. There’s an overall great atmosphere there.

Klatt said that when she visited the school, “I just knew this is where I wanted to go. Also, they have excellent science programs which will help me become a physician’s assistant in the future.”

Klatt has played softball for 12 years. Her main position is catcher, and the AB coach recruited her as a catcher. She plays travel softball in the summer as well for the Steel City Cyclones U-18 Gold team.
