Griffiths reaches state wrestling semi-finals
As day 2 starts for Southmoreland 132 pound junior Tyler Griffiths, he added yet another win onto his state record as he defeated Bodee Tolbert of Bishop McDevitt with a 4-0 decision.
Griffiths now advances to the semi-final match against Gabe Miller of Pequea Valley (bout number 410).
Griffiths will reach the medal stand no matter the outcome of bout 410, but if he is successful, he will reach the finals, which will take place tomorrow. He could become Southmoreland’s second state champion in two years. Jake Beistel became the first state wrestling champion in 2016.
