SHS Student Government Board candidates announced
Voting for the 2018-2019 school year Southmoreland High School Student Government Board will take place on April 26. Each grade will have eight representatives voted onto the board, five of which are the officer positions of president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, and historian.
Sponsor Mrs. Amy Brown said the organization “acts as a liaison between the students and school administration. The adviser for the past 15 years, Mrs. Brown added that the student government board “establishes meaningful programs and events for the student body and make changes to better the school.”
