Pritts and Shetterly named prom king and queen

Students attending the Southmoreland prom voted for five boys and five girls out of the senior class for the 2019 prom court.

The male court included Dalton Anderson, Chad Miller, Dylan Opalinski, Chris Pritts and Travis Sipple. The female court was Lauryn Lubecki, Megan King, Maegan Shetterly, Tessa Hamborsky and Alyssa Gaborko. From that list, prom attendees chose one boy and one girl to ultimately win prom king and queen.

Finally, it was the moment that everyone had been waiting for. Chris Pritts and Maegan Shetterly served as the 2019 prom king and queen.

“I wasn’t expecting to make the prom court, so when I won, I was very excited and even caught off guard,” Shetterly said. “It was even cooler that I got to win alongside my best friend and prom date, Chris. It is a memory that we will both cherish forever.”

Pritts added, “I was so happy to win with my best friend.”
